This is a department store. Say hi. (SAY IT!) What does department store mean? It means that it's not a one-brand store. They've got a whole bunch of brands: Arizona, Olsenboye, Decree.... And much, much more! You guys probably already shop there and know how awesome JCP is. It has some majorly cute stuff for summer 2010. Arizona has a bunch of good, durable basics (tanktops and t-shirts). It has its own denim section. To be honest, I don't fit in the jeans downstairs ( downstairs is a commonplace reference for the juniors section). Thus, I buy my jeans upstairs (another commonplace term for the girls section). On this mission I actually ended up buying these really cute gray-jean shorts. If you're tiny, like me, don't be ashamed to shop upstairs! It's not that bad, really. Downstairs, though, the jean sizes are really comprehensive, in a wide range of sizes and the ever-coveted half-sizes. There are different cuts of jeans which are usually labeled. For light, summery dresses, try Olsenboye. For low cut, creatively designed shirts try Kimona Lee Simmon's Baby Phat. If you want a Boho-New York feel, Decree has some nice stuff. Arizona is basics central! They usually sort sizes by numbers on the hanger, but sometimes they screw it up, so don't rely on it. Arizona jeans have these easy-to-see tags clearly stating the size.
